In 2007, Amanda was a high school student who joined the SeaPerch team at her school. She loved it.

In the fall of 2009, Amanda began college at Rutgers University, majoring in engineering. That following summer, she began an internship for the Navy at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division.

One wonders what the future will hold for this young talent!
